Last VM @ Mugen Tea House, Thurs 4 Feb

We’ve got some brilliant artists to warm your cockles for our last event on Scotland St! Come and join us on Thursday 4 Feb at the Mugen Tea House before our big move to the Moor Theatre Deli in March.

We will hear from Sai Murray (Tangled Roots Poet/ Liquorice Fish) with his passionate, inspiring poetry, fantastic verse from London-based Hannah Chutzpah – Performance Poet extraordinaire and wonderful music from Arian Sadr (Musician).

There’ll also be great open mic performances from Kristina Diprose (Poet), Chris Rodgers (Sheffield Writer/short stories), Mick Nott (Lyrics),  Michelle Beck (Poet), Will Banks (Poet) and Liz Ferrets (Poet).

We work in partnership with the S2 Food Bank – please bring along tinned/dried food donations and we’ll pass them on to the Food Bank.

As always there’ll be lovely tea and cakes from Sarah at the Mugen Tea House. The venue doesn’t have a licence so please bring your own bottle if you want to drink alcohol! Look forward to seeing you there!

Cost: Pay what you can. £3 suggested donation. All door profits split between featured artists. Free entry for open mic participants.
